Skipping meals has become very normal nowadays for most people let it be for any reason like some may want to lose weight fast, some may be too busy at work or tied up in business meetings, not feeling hungry, have nothing to eat or arriving home late.
But let the reason be whatever, skipping meals will have negative effects on your body.
Negative effects on skipping meals like it lowers the metabolism, obesity and weight gain, cravings for sugar/ sweets/ processed food are high when skipping a meal, it is bad for people who have diabetes, headache, acidity, bad breath, etc.
Tips to avoid skipping meals:
- Eat smaller, frequent meals throughout the day rather than skipping meals. And if no time for breakfast then get up 10 mins early and do finish your breakfast.
- If at work then always keep healthy snacks in drawer-like nuts, seeds, fruit, and for home keep a healthy snack in the fridge.
- Plan your meals in advance or prepare them the night before.
- Set an alarm to ring at lunchtime if you are going to be running around all day.
